dc.description.abstractThis thesis work involves the development of a system (using C code), through recorded PCG signals, that are analysed in matlab software to get amplitude coordinates of the signal. The amplitude coordinates of recorded PCG signal are then given as input to the developed C code. Then analysis of signal is done through C code which produce results based on the analysis made by it which includes heart rate and several other heart related diseases(arrhythmias). The method proposed in this thesis starts by taking recorded PCG signal and processing them in matlab to obtain the amplitude coordinates of the signal in text file. This text file is given as input to the developed system (C code) and then using the developed algorithm, various parameters i.e. heart rate and other heart related diseases(arrhythmias) are calculated and given as the output of the system.en_US
